Soccer Insurance
for Teams, Leagues, Clubs/Associations, Camps, Clinics/Lessons,
Tournaments/Events
One of the most popular sports in the world, soccer has attracted both soccer fans and soccer players by the millions in teams,
associations, clubs and leagues. Soccer has attracted both girls and boys from very young ages since the mid 1800s,
and today soccer teams constitute the fastest growing team sports in the US. With 10 soccer players on each side running
at break neck speed toward a goalkeeper, injuries are common. From sprains and tissue tears,
to fractures and broken bones, to dislocations and concussions, soccer is a sport that requires comprehensive insurance coverage like any other,
even those that may be considered higher contact than soccer. As well, soccer spectators, can be subject to injuries from trips and falls,
to thrown balls and player pile ups. They too require the appropriate insurance coverages, as does the soccer field of play and related property.
Our coverage program is designed for both youth and/or adult amateur and college level Soccer Teams, Leagues, Clubs, Associations, Camps, Clinics, Lessons,
Tournaments and Events .
Our program includes Accident and Medical Coverage for participants as well
as Participant and General Liability coverage
for the Named Insured, its employees and volunteers and athletic participants.
The liability coverage protects against claims of bodily injury, property damage
and the litigation costs of defending against such claims.
Covered operations include all scheduled, sanctioned, approved, organized and supervised instruction, as well as practices,
try-outs, clinics, games, play-offs and tournaments. In addition, coverage extends to include related
Non-Athletic Participant Events, such as registrations, meetings,

Coverage Requirements
Waiver & Release System
The General Liability policy requires that the insured must maintain a system to regularly secure
signed Waiver and Release forms from participants. The Waiver/Liability release forms should meet
all current paper and or e-waiver state requirements. For minor participants, these waiver/release
forms should be signed by a parent or guardian. Unintentional error on your part in securing Waiver
and Release forms will not void your coverage in the event of a claim by a participant; however,
your failure to maintain an adequate system to regularly secure Waiver and Release forms will void
your coverage in the event of a claim. For your protection we recommend having your waiver
prepared /approved by your legal council.
